Corrections policy

We work hard to keep this site accurate, but a tour of this size changes constantly and mistakes happen. If you spot one, we want to know.

Email us at hello@oasistour.site or use the contact form, telling us the page and what's wrong. We review every report, and where a correction is warranted we make it promptly and update the page's "last updated" date.

Significant corrections, anything that changes a date, status or other key fact, are reflected across every page that uses that data, because it all comes from a single source.

14 September 2026: tour announced with 38 shows

The tour was first announced with 38 shows. This site first listed the tour at that size, with the dates and cities given in the announcement. Readers who saw the first version of the site saw 38 shows, because that was the announced total at the time.

23 September 2026: tour grew from 38 shows to 42 shows

The tour grew from 38 announced shows to 42 shows. Four extra shows were added after the first announcement. This site updated every city page, the tour calendar and the tickets guide to the new total. The full run now stands at 42 shows in 11 cities, from 21 May to 26 September 2027.

Paris second night moved from 24 July to 23 July 2027

The second Paris night moved from 24 July 2027 to 23 July 2027. This site first listed the Paris run as 20 and 24 July. It now lists the run as 20 and 23 July on the Paris page and every other page that gives Paris dates. Tickets bought for 24 July remain valid for the new date, and there is no Paris show on 24 July 2027.

24 October 2026: line-up page reframed as confirmed versus expected

The line-up page was reframed to separate confirmed facts from expectations. Only Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are confirmed by name for Live '27, and Richard Ashcroft is confirmed as the support act on every show. Other musicians from the 2025 reunion band are now described as expected at most, not as confirmed. Bonehead's status is described as unconfirmed after a treatment break during the 2025 run.

24 October 2026: unsourced Morning Glory superlatives removed

Three unsourced claims were removed from the Morning Glory album page: worldwide sales of over 22 million copies, the title of most-streamed 1990s album in the UK, and the sentence that the album had made Oasis the biggest band in Britain. No dated Tier 1 or Tier 2 source backed those claims, so they were deleted rather than softened. The sourced claims on the same page were kept untouched: the page still calls the album the biggest-selling studio album in UK history, still gives the BPI certification of 19 times platinum and the Official Charts figure of 6.2 million UK chart units.

24 October 2026: tickets guide moved from /oasis-tickets/ to /tickets/

The general tickets guide moved from /oasis-tickets/ to /tickets/. The guide itself did not change in the move, and the old address now lands on the new address. Readers who saved the old link still reach the same guide.

What the log does not cover

The log does not list small fixes. A spelling fix, a clearer sentence or a tidier heading does not change any fact, so it does not belong here. It does not list new coverage either: a new page or a fresh angle on an old topic is not a correction, even when it changes how a topic reads. Only a change to a fact that was already published counts as a correction for this log, and each entry names the old position and the new position so a reader can check it.
