Glasgow starts the whole thing. Oasis open Live ‘27 with five nights at Celtic Park in late May 2027. The run launches a 42-show tour that closes at Knebworth in September.
Celtic Park holds 60,411 for football, the biggest ground in Scotland. A concert layout turns the pitch into a standing floor below the stands. The city also signed the band in 1993, so the tour opens where the story started.
How do the five nights line up?
Five nights run from Friday 21 May to Saturday 29 May 2027. The band play Sunday 23 and Tuesday 25 May in between. A two-day gap then splits the closing Friday and Saturday pair.
That final weekend covers the late spring bank holiday. Hotels fill early as visitors stretch the trip around it. Every date in sequence sits on the Oasis tour 2027 homepage.
Nothing in Glasgow has moved. Paris reshuffled one date later in the summer, but Glasgow keeps its original five. The opener carries extra weight because tours tend to loosen up as they go.
In practice, the Friday opener and the Tuesday show pull different crowds. Friday brings the full first-night circus and the highest demand. Tuesday suits fans who want the same show with a calmer city around it.
Are there any Glasgow tickets left?
No general sale tickets remain for any Celtic Park night. All five nights sold out in the registration ballot. Official resale at face value is now the only route in.
Ticketmaster and, in the UK, Twickets run that resale. Listings surface as holders drop out, mostly in the weeks before each date. Twickets caps UK resale at the original price plus the booking fee.
For context, standard prices for this tour were fixed in advance. They ran from £71.50 to £266.60, fees included, across every show. Face-value resale therefore sits inside that same range.
Meanwhile, the opener will hold the scarcest resale supply of the five. Nobody knows the set before that night, which pushes demand up. Later Glasgow nights loosen slightly once the tour settles in.
That said, anything priced above face value elsewhere carries real risk. The band have warned that such tickets can face cancellation. Our resale tickets guide explains the safe channel, and the ticket scams page covers the fraud patterns.
When do Oasis take the stage in Glasgow?
Nobody has confirmed door or stage times for Celtic Park yet. The promoter has published nothing for any Glasgow night. Fans must plan around the Live ‘25 pattern instead.
For context, Oasis usually took the stage near 8:15pm on Live ‘25. Support act Richard Ashcroft plays before them at every Glasgow night. Confirmed times will land on the stage times page as promoters release them.
The Live ‘27 setlist tracker records what the band play each night. It fills in from the Glasgow opener onwards. First-night choices often set the template for the whole tour.
By contrast, the end of the night already has a fixed shape. Trains from the east-end stations thin out soon after the show empties. Settle your route home before you head in, not after the encore.
How do you get to Celtic Park and back?
Dalmarnock station gives you the shortest walk, about ten minutes. ScotRail runs it from Glasgow Central on the Argyle line. Bridgeton, Bellgrove and Duke Street stations all sit within a mile.
Meanwhile, First Bus services run along the Gallowgate and London Road. They stop near the Forge, roughly a mile from the ground. The Glasgow Subway never reaches the east end, so rule it out for this trip.
Before the show, both main stations split the arrivals neatly. Glasgow Central handles the Argyle line trains to Dalmarnock. Glasgow Queen Street serves the north and east of the city, plus Edinburgh trains.
On the practical side, the walk back to the centre takes about 45 minutes. London Road and the Gallowgate carry the crowd west after the show. That walk often beats the station queue on a sold-out night.
Driving ranks last among the options here. Streets around the ground are residential and restricted on event days. The Celtic Park guide covers gates, bag limits and the exit in full.
For international fans, Glasgow Airport sits about 25 minutes away by road. Express buses link the airport with the city centre through the day. The Oasis travel guide covers entry rules and onward routing for visitors.
Where should you stay in Glasgow?
The city centre and Merchant City put most fans closest to the action. Both sit a short walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations. Trains from either station cover the trip east to Parkhead.
Meanwhile, the West End around Byres Road offers the calmer base. Cafes and bars there sit away from the centre crowds. Rail and taxi links still reach Celtic Park in good time.
King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut still stages gigs on St Vincent Street. The Barrowland Ballroom stands in the east end, near the ground. Both rooms shaped the band’s early live reputation.
On the practical side, book rooms before you book anything else. Five stadium nights over a bank holiday strip central hotels fast. Prices climb steeply once the cheaper rooms near the stations go.
Late May weather here stays cool and changeable. Met Office averages put afternoons near 15 to 16C and nights near 7 to 9C. Pack a layer and a thin waterproof, even with daylight lasting past 9pm.
What is Glasgow’s Oasis history?
Glasgow can claim Oasis like few cities can. Creation Records boss Alan McGee caught the band at King Tut’s on 31 May 1993. He signed them after a short set that same night.
Three summers later, the band headlined two nights at Balloch Country Park. Around 40,000 fans a night watched them by Loch Lomond in August 1996. Those shows landed a fortnight before Knebworth.
Their last Glasgow shows before the split came at the SECC in 2009. The Dig Out Your Soul tour stopped there on that final run. The 2027 opener closes a 34-year circle back to the McGee signing.
In between, the band’s Glasgow stops tracked their rise exactly. Club rooms gave way to the SECC, then to outdoor fields at Loch Lomond. Celtic Park, the biggest ground in Scotland, completes that climb.
