Ireland gets two nights of Oasis at Slane Castle, on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September 2027. They are the band’s only Irish dates on Live ‘27. The grass amphitheatre slopes down to the River Boyne in County Meath, with the castle on the rise above.
Both nights sold out fast. Official face-value resale is the one route worth trusting here. Slane is a greenfield site, not a stadium, and that changes the whole day.
When are the Oasis Slane dates?
The two Slane nights fall on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September 2027. A full weekend suits fans travelling from across Ireland or flying into Dublin. Nobody needs a day off work to make either show.
These nights also sit near the end of the tour. They follow the three Las Vegas shows in late August. The six-night Knebworth finale then closes Live ‘27 on 26 September.
Nothing here has moved or changed. The Oasis tour 2027 homepage shows where the Irish nights fall among all 42 dates. Slane is the final stop before the band head home to England.
Can you still get Oasis Slane tickets?
Neither night has primary tickets left. The promoters have confirmed no further release for either show. Ticketmaster resale is the only route worth trusting.
Meanwhile, returned tickets go back out at their printed price as holders drop out. Most movement comes in the last weeks before each night. Patience and alerts matter more than speed here.
Irish law tilts this market in a buyer’s favour. The Sale of Tickets Act 2021 makes reselling above face value illegal at venues holding 1,000 or more people. Fines reach 100,000 euro, and Slane is fully covered.
That said, Twickets runs no Irish marketplace, so ignore UK resale habits here. A listing above the printed price on a general site is a warning sign, not a bargain. Our resale tickets guide walks through the safe options, and the ticket scams guide covers the fakes.
What time do Oasis come on at Slane?
Nobody has published doors, support or set times for the Slane nights yet. The promoter had confirmed none of them by late October 2026. Fans must plan around the all-day pattern instead.
Slane runs as an all-day licensed event on the estate. Recent concerts opened gates around the middle of the day. The field then fills through the afternoon towards the headline slot, with Richard Ashcroft named as support across the tour.
For context, the Live ‘25 headline sets began around 8:15pm. Early September light holds until just after 8pm at Slane. The walk out afterwards runs in full darkness, so the stage times page matters once promoters set the clock.
That said, an all-day site rewards an early arrival more than a late dash. Fans who enter at gates opening claim the best slope positions. They also clear security before the queues peak in the afternoon.
How do you get to Slane Castle?
No railway station serves Slane, and that fact shapes every plan. Fans choose between a pre-booked coach and a pre-booked car park. Nobody pays for either on arrival.
Garda traffic plans route official coaches from Dublin along the N2. They run to a dedicated depot near the site. Separate services run from Drogheda and from Navan, and private coaches use their own park.
In practice, roads around the village close for the event itself. Buses stay off the narrow Kells Road and the Drogheda road. A casual drop-off near the gates is not realistic on the day.
Drogheda, about 15km east, offers the nearest mainline station. Irish Rail trains link Drogheda with Dublin Connolly. Dublin Airport is the nearest airport, about an hour away by road, and our Oasis travel guide covers flights and entry.
Drivers reserve a car park slot ahead and expect a slow exit. The Slane Castle guide covers the walk in, the bag rules and the site itself.
On the practical side, coach seats sell out before car park slots do. The Dublin services carry the largest share of the crowd. Book your return seat the moment the promoter opens coach sales, not after you sort the ticket.
Where should you stay for Slane?
Most fans base themselves in Dublin and ride the coach out. Slane village is tiny, and its few rooms go long before any concert. Dublin offers the hotels, the late trains and the airport links.
Drogheda is the other sensible base, about 15km east towards the coast. It tends to run cheaper than the capital. Both towns sit within an hour of the gates on a normal day.
Meanwhile, Navan adds a third option to the west of the site. Coaches run from the town on show days as well. Its rooms suit drivers who want a short run in and a quiet night after.
For context, the Boyne Valley adds real history to the trip. Newgrange and the Hill of Tara sit a short drive from Slane. Early September brings highs around 17 to 18C, evenings near 10C, and a fair chance of rain, so pack for mud.
Oasis at Slane: the history
Oasis and Slane go back to the band’s first rise. They first played the site on 22 July 1995, opening for R.E.M.
That show landed weeks before (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? changed everything for the band.
Fourteen years later, they returned to headline on 20 June 2009. About 80,000 fans watched, with The Prodigy among the support acts. The Oasis split in 2009 followed that August, which made Slane their last Irish concert for a generation.
Slane itself has hosted the biggest names in rock since 1981. Thin Lizzy opened the account, and U2, Bruce Springsteen, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica followed. The Conyngham family have held the estate since the eighteenth century.
Meanwhile, the 2027 shows extend that story rather than repeat it. Oasis join the small group of acts who headlined Slane across two eras. The site rewards acts who can hold a field, and the Gallaghers built their name on exactly that.
