Knebworth Park gets its biggest ever transport plan for Oasis Live ‘27, with train fares capped at £10. Promoters confirmed late trains, a campsite village and the first grandstands in the venue’s history on 17 September 2026.

Six Oasis shows land at Knebworth in September 2027, on 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 September. About 125,000 fans a night will leave a rural Hertfordshire estate at the same moment. The Oasis Knebworth 2027 run closes the whole tour, so the exit plan matters.

Great British Rail runs the backbone of that plan. Trains leave Stevenage for London King’s Cross after every show until 01:30. Services run about every 30 minutes from 23:30, and every fare costs £10 or less.

A stewarded, lit walking route links the park to Stevenage station. Fans get one full hour after each show to board their transport. Nobody needs to sprint for the last train while the encore still rings out.

Meanwhile, coaches cover the rest of the country. Operators will run services from more than 120 UK locations. Organisers bill the network as the “largest coach service for any cultural event in the UK”.

Promoter Rob Ballantine of SJM Concerts set out the aim plainly. His team wants to “make Oasis Live ‘27 at Knebworth the best possible fan experience”. The plan urges fans not to drive to the estate at all.

The contrast with 1996 could hardly be sharper. Fans drove to the estate in 1996, parked in fields and walked for miles in the dark afterwards. Two nights drew 250,000 people with none of this structure behind them.

Book the £10 fare while the route still has seats. Stevenage handles big football crowds, but 125,000 people dwarf a normal matchday flow. Early bookers get the 23:30 departures and the shortest walk back through the stewards.

Camping and grandstands change the Knebworth offer

For context, the Campsite Village turns a day trip into a weekend. The village costs £60 per person for the Saturday shows. That price covers Friday arrival, Sunday departure, parking, a pitch and late night entertainment.

The Knebworth camping guide holds the full pitch details for campers. Three Saturday shows, on 12, 19 and 26 September, qualify for the village offer. Friday and Sunday crowds travel in and out on the day.

Knebworth also gains seats for the first time in its history. Three reserved grandstands will overlook the field, ending the standing-only tradition that ran from 1996 onward. Hospitality guests get the Knebworth House Gardens as their base.

The Knebworth Park venue guide covers the layout in full. Accessibility gets a record of its own, with the largest accessible viewing platform any Knebworth gig has offered. The accessible tickets guide explains booking routes for disabled fans.

That said, the field remains the heart of the show. Most fans will stand where 250,000 people stood across two nights in August 1996. The grandstands simply give older fans and families a second way to watch.

Sunday crowds face a different shape of day. The campsite village covers Saturday shows only, so Sunday fans travel in and out within one long day. The same £10 trains and the coach network carry that crowd home late at night.

Hospitality reshapes the top end of the site as well. Guests base themselves in the Knebworth House Gardens, away from the main field crowds. The house itself watched Queen, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones play these lawns across five decades.

In practice, book transport before anything else. Train seats, coach places and campsite pitches all carry fixed capacity, unlike the field. Fans who sort the journey now can spend September 2027 thinking about the music instead.
