Alan White was the drummer of Oasis from 1995 to 2004, joining in time to record the band’s commercial peak. He does not play on the Live ‘27 reunion, that seat belongs to touring drummer Joey Waronker, but he played on some of the most-loved records in the catalogue.

White replaced original drummer Tony McCarroll and brought a bigger, more fluid feel to (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Be Here Now, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and Heathen Chemistry, drumming through the Knebworth era and the band’s years as the biggest group in Britain. He left in 2004 and was succeeded by Zak Starkey. Note he is not the Alan White who drummed in Yes, a different musician entirely, hence the distinct slug here.

As a former member, his work underpins the songs the band still plays live in 2027 rather than the touring band itself. See the Oasis members hub for the full line-up history and the Live ‘27 lineup for the current band.
