Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs plays rhythm guitar in Oasis and is one of the band’s founder members, back in the fold for the reunion, part of the touring band on Live ‘25 and expected, unconfirmed, for Live ‘27. His presence matters to fans well beyond the chords: with his shaved head and wall-of-sound rhythm playing, he was a defining part of the classic Oasis image and the dense guitar sound of Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.

Bonehead co-founded the band in Manchester in 1991 and anchored its rhythm section through the imperial years, including the two Knebworth 1996 nights, before leaving in 1999. His return for the reunion was one of the most warmly received parts of the announcement, a direct line back to the original line-up rather than a hired replacement.

If confirmed for 2027, he would reprise that founding role behind the Gallagher brothers. For the full touring band around him see the Live ‘27 lineup, and for everyone who has ever played in the band, the Oasis members hub.
