Chris Sharrock was the drummer in Oasis’s final line-up, in the band from 2008 to 2009. He does not play on the Live ‘27 reunion, but he was behind the kit for the end of the original Oasis story.

Sharrock replaced Zak Starkey and drummed the later Dig Out Your Soul shows and the band’s last concerts before the split at Rock en Seine in Paris in August 2009. An experienced drummer who had worked with The La’s and the Lightning Seeds, he went on to become a mainstay of Liam Gallagher’s post-Oasis world, playing in Beady Eye and Liam’s solo band, a thread that keeps him close to half of the reunion even if he is not on the 2027 tour.

As the drummer on the final shows, his place is at the close of the original band rather than its return. The Oasis split 2009 is covered on the Paris page, where those last shows happened; see the Oasis members hub for the full picture.
