Is Oasis Bigger Than Taylor Swift? Tour Figures Compared
Comparing Oasis and Taylor Swift by tour gross, tickets sold and demand. Who is bigger depends on which measure you use, and the answer is not the same for both.
The honest answer is that Taylor Swift is bigger commercially, and Oasis is bigger in a narrower, more intense way. Both things are true, and which one matters depends on what you are measuring.
On money, it is not close. Swift’s Eras Tour grossed over $2 billion across 149 shows, the highest-grossing concert tour ever recorded. Oasis Live ‘25 grossed $405.4 million on around 2.2 million tickets, which made it the second biggest tour of 2025 behind Beyoncé’s $407.6 million. That is an enormous figure in absolute terms, and it is roughly a fifth of what Eras took. Swift also tours globally, across far more territories, while Live ‘27 concentrates 42 shows into nine countries.
Where Oasis compete is density of demand in their home market. The 2027 ballot allocated all 42 shows in a single weekend, and the 1996 Knebworth shows drew reported ticket demand of more than two million people for 250,000 places, a ratio that remains extraordinary. In the UK specifically, an Oasis announcement generates a scale of scramble that few artists in the world can match. Swift wins on global scale and total revenue; Oasis wins on how hard it is to actually get in the room.
