Oasis Live '27 Support Leak: Cast And Primal Scream Unconfirmed
An unconfirmed leak names Cast and Primal Scream as possible Oasis Live '27 support acts. Only Richard Ashcroft is confirmed so far for the 42 show tour.
An unconfirmed leak names Cast and Primal Scream as possible support acts for Oasis Live ‘27.
Next, The Sun reported the leak after Instagram creator Gavin Leigh Davis posted two short updates that named each band in turn.
Still, no official announcement backs either name, and only Richard Ashcroft stands confirmed as special guest for the tour.
What the leak actually says
First, Davis posted the words “Oasis support 2027 Cast” on his Instagram profile.
Next, he posted a second update with the words “Oasis support 2027 Primal Scream”.
The Sun describes Davis as a creator known for posting tour and festival lineup tips.
In addition, the report notes that some of his earlier tips later proved correct, including festival lineups that matched the final announcements.
However, a strong track record does not turn a post into an announcement.
Still, The Sun itself states that “Officially nothing is confirmed” about either act.
Why Cast leads the rumour
Cast formed in Liverpool in 1992, and the band supported Oasis on the Live ‘25 tour in the UK and Ireland.
For that reason, a source quoted by The Sun calls a Cast return likely, since the band already knows the tour setup.
Also, the same source points to the Live ‘25 run as the reason Cast could sign up again.
Meanwhile, Cast frontman John Power sounded far less certain in recent comments reported elsewhere.
Power said there were “a lot of rumours” about 2027, and he joked that he hoped to at least make the guest list.
Still, that comment does not read like a man holding a signed deal, and it keeps the rumour firmly unconfirmed.
Why Primal Scream appears in the leak
Primal Scream are the second name in the leak. The Sun names Bobby Gillespie, Andrew Innes and Darrin Mooney as the current core of the band.
In contrast to Cast, Primal Scream did not support Oasis on the Live ‘25 tour in the UK and Ireland.
Meanwhile, earlier rumour roundups had already listed Primal Scream among fan names, but with little solid evidence behind the link.
So the new post adds a name to the conversation without adding proof.
Fans should treat the Primal Scream link as a rumour until an official source confirms it.
In addition, Courteeners sit in the background of the support conversation. Frontman Liam Fray said the band would “answer the call” if Oasis asked them to support.

What the confirmed picture looks like
The confirmed lineup picture stays narrow, with only Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher confirmed by name for Live ‘27.
Next, Ashcroft returns as special guest, and he played the same role at the UK and Ireland shows on Live ‘25.
The tour itself runs for 42 shows from 21 May to 26 September 2027.
It opens in Glasgow and closes with six nights at Knebworth in September.
The run covers 11 tour cities across Europe and North America.
All 42 shows sold out in the September 2026 ballot, and no general sale took place.
What would turn this rumour into news
An official announcement from Oasis or the tour promoter would settle the question at once.
Similarly, a venue or promoter listing that names a support act for a specific date would also count as confirmation.
Until then, social posts and unnamed source quotes stay in the rumour column.
Regional billing could still shape the final answer. Live ‘25 paired Ashcroft with Cast in the UK and Ireland, and it used a different act in North America.
Still, that pattern leaves room for different support acts in different cities, but it proves nothing about 2027.
In short, fans can enjoy the speculation without treating either name as booked.
What it means for Live ‘27 fans
For ballot holders, the leak changes nothing about tickets, travel plans or show dates.
The support question matters most for arrival times, and fans should wait for confirmed billing before they plan an early start.
Above all, the only safe route for spare tickets stays official resale at face value.
Fans still hunting for tickets should use official resale only, through the Oasis tickets page.
